It’s time for next year’s 2023-2024 ASB election process! Have you ever wondered how you can get more involved in school? Well, here’s your chance to make a positive difference and get involved in the ultimate school family…ASB!
ASB stands for Associated Student Body and consists of a group of students that represent the interest and goals of the entire student body of Downey High School. Students who choose to run for an ASB office do so because they recognize that there is more to being successful in school than simply doing homework. ASB is responsible for providing student activities and being the voice of Downey High students to staff, school district, and community. Students in ASB plan, organize, and participate in such activities as Spirit Weeks, fundraising, community awareness projects, Student and Staff Recognition, etc. throughout the year. Isn’t it time you joined ASB and made a difference?
