One standout program is the Food Science and Hospitality Pathway, which gives students the opportunity to explore dynamic fields like food science, nutrition, dietetics, and culinary arts. With options available at both Downey High School and Warren High School, students can chart their course to success by gaining industry-relevant skills and certifications that set them apart in the workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Food Science, Dietetics, and Nutrition Pathway at Downey High School<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This pathway focuses on the science of food and its impact on health. In the first year, students study topics like kitchen safety, recipe math, and nutritional values.
